We are super excited to announce that our peel and stick wallpaper is now an environmentally friendly solution for our customers. This journey has been super important to us. Because we offer a product that inspires people, creates community and beautifies a home or office, we wanted to ensure our wallpaper was completely environmentally friendly.
What does this mean for you?
First of all, it means that when you purchase our peel and stick wallpaper, it is entirely PVC free. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic—commonly known as vinyl— is single most environmentally damaging type of plastic there is in the marketplace and is widely found in various peel and stick products. With a lot of options in the marketplace for peel and stick wallpaper, not many are PVC free. Check before you buy!
Secondly, for the Interior designers among you, our peel and stick wallpaper’s environmentally responsible construction supports two LEED credits.
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. Buildings generate up to 35 percent of all greenhouse gases, 35 percent of landfill waste comes from construction and demolition activities, and up to 70 percent of municipal water is consumed in and around buildings. It’s clear that making buildings greener can have a substantial impact on larger environmental goals and we want to play a roll in this.
As a LEED-certified Interior Designer, you can confidently use our peel and stick wallpaper product for your next design project.
Our new, environmentally friendly wallpaper is simply beautiful. It has a matte finish, feels like fabric, is thick and weighty to hang straight when you install it (trust us, this makes it very easy to install). It also does not shrink over time.
Explore our wide variety of patterns. If you are not sure, order a sample first or ask us questions. The sample pack will give you two small pieces of wallpaper for you to try out on your wall.
